Richard's career spans from playing piano for the Ramada Inn Lounge while studying electrical engineering in College to becoming a retail executive creative director for Belks, Uptons, Famous Footwear, and Paradies Shops. Now the Principal and Owner of BrunningVM, he has helped design dozens of new stores for Marine Max, Lazy Days RV, Air Stream, Faber International, and Air Ventures LLC.
In his spare time he enjoys mentoring painters young and old at the Thirsty Mona Lisa in Stone Mountain GA. "I love the expression on folks faces when they suddenly discover the joy of creating art that comes from their heart."
He lives with his wife Sarah, married now for a wonderful 44 years. They have three grown Children - Rick, 41, a musician, Ashely, 39, a dance instructor in NYC and Megan, 31, a professional opera singer.
