We are reliable
but not predictable.
We have been in business for 40+ years,
with offices, over time, in Nashville, NYC, Chicago and Detroit.
Hummingbird Productions was established in 1976. We began as a music production company and eventually became one of the longest standing advertising production companies in the world. Hummingbird has composed or arranged literally thousands of commercials including such well known ad songs as “Always Coca-Cola”, Wrigley’s “Double Your Refreshment” and "I Wish I Were an Oscar Meyer Wiener". In the new millennium Hummingbird, having been involved for many year in the film industry, seeing the need to better fuse film and music into "FUSIC" as a process, we evolved into Film Production.
With numerous Clio awards, including the Clio Hall of Fame “Budweiser Frogs”, our composers have also written original music for virtually every type of music medium.
Eventually, we realized that we have been on the same page with certain directors for so long we decided to join together and give a label to what we had been doing all along: FUSIC (the perfect blend of film and music).
Since that time, Hummingbird has engaged heavily in the film industry, both in the commercials world and in feature film. We are presently in varying stages of development on a number of films, including the sequel to the classic film It's a Wonderful Life.
Awards
Four Clios, Cannes Lion, Paris Film Festival, numerous Tellys and innumerable (in the hundreds) regional and local Addy and other awards throughout our history dating from 1976. The Budweiser Frogs spot is now in the Clio Hall of Fame (and is taught in Film Classes around the world).
